Wicked Games (Music Video)

This song explores the aftermath of a heartbreak — the loneliness, fury, sadness, desperation. As many of us know, your first heartbreak feels like a murder, so we personified that for this singer’s first music video (ever).

Curámica Docu-portrait

Greg Falconi shares how returning to ceramics feels like a cure and helps him become centered and grounded.
Our Approach: Our goal was to balance the real world with the etherial. Our real world depicts clear picture and deep, cool colors. Meanwhile, the etherial world leans into a “home video” aesthetic with more muted and warm colors, grains, and dust scratches that feel more vulnerable. The video is led by a tender VO over and atmospheric music to bring a sense of peace that the artist wishes to share through his work.

Pfizer School of Science

We created a video to get New York educators excited about the new Pfizer School of Science.

Story approach: Task Pfizer employees to share information about the school — what it is, how it started, and what to expect.

Visual approach: Balance the informative interviews with empowering b-roll of the kids. To push the emotive storytelling, we played with speed ramps, low angles, macro closeups. Plus, we incorporated confident portraits of the kids. Our goal was to limit how observational our b-roll was and ensure it had an emotional point of view.

Drumstick x Eric Andrew=

Waterloo partnered with Eric Andre to launch #DrumstickMonday — a national petition to make the day after the Super Bowl a formal holiday. On set for their 2024 Super Bowl commercial, we directed quick social content to tease the campaign.

Waterloo x Curtis Stone Social Content

Waterloo partnered with Curtis Stone (Iron Chef) to launch two new flavors — Orange Vanilla and Ginger Citrus Twist. Our approach: keep it light and airy, like a daytime talk show. Plus, in post, we wanted to push the energy with a quick-paced edit.

Aby — Biogen’s MS Support App

Biogen launched an MS support app. To help promote it, we created two patient testimonial videos (left, middle) and an internal announcement video (right) featuring Biogen employees. For the first video, our goal was to set up the story like a stage, letting talent tell their story like a performance. For the third video, we wanted to dip into several settings and showcase how the Aby app can help anyone, anywhere.

CommonAlly Social Content

CommonAlly was a political startup app aimed to help young and first-time voters prepare for the 2020 election. The left video is a promo for the app. The right video is one of many edu-tainment videos we created to help teach voters about the political landscape. Both videos are shot to match that fast cut and lofi social aesthetic that’s become so popular.

At What Cost (PSA)

TW: Violence and depictions of suicide. Please note, I would never create anything this graphic these days.

At What Cost presents data regarding violence against the transgender community and the horrific impact. While this video was created in 2016, the issues have become even more dire in today’s world. The question still remains: At what cost are we willing to excuse transphobia?

Our approach: Lean into the heavy subject matter with high contrast shots. We implemented jump cuts, with the goal of feeling disoriented—just like our protagonist.

Misconduct (Short Film Teasers)

As a baby creative, I wrote and directed a short film called Misconduct. It told a story about blurred lines between a school librarian and student. Due to the nature of the content, this film is no longer available. However, please enjoy these posters as directing sample.

One Crazy Ride (Fiction Podcast)

OK, this isn’t video. But it is, however, a great example for directing talent and sound design. Check out this short form fiction comedy series!
